Our annual leadership meeting / Ежегодная встреча наших организаторов

On Jan. 29-30, 2022, our Association’s board of directors held our annual consultations and a meeting. Participants adopted three documents, including 1) on the Kremlin’s threat to the integrity of Ukraine; 2) letter to Members of Congress in support of the initiative for a Special Student Relief and Temporary Protected Status to some of the Belarusians temporarily in the US; and 3) letter to Members of Congress urging them to establish a Russia Human Rights Caucus (you can read them by following this link). Our board expanded its membership and also held a joint meeting with the leaders of our international project, the Russian Diaspora Council for Ending Political Reprisals ‘VYPUSKAI!’. This meeting was followed by an ‘open doors’ discussion with would-be volunteers and activists. In total, these meetings included participants based in 10 cities and 8 countries (US, UK, France, Spain, Estonia, Montenegro, Ukraine, and Israel). /

29-30 января 2022 г. Совет директоров Ассоциации провёл своё очередное ежегодное совещание. Его участники приняли три документа – 1) заявление об угрозе целостности Украины со стороны Кремля; 2) обращение к членам Конгресса в поддержку инициативы о предоставлении иммиграционных льгот временно находящимся в США беларусским студентам и активистам; и 3) обращение к членам Конгресса о необходимости создания специальной депутатской группы по правам человека в России (полные тексты документов – здесь). Наш Совет расширил свой состав, а также провёл совместную встречу с руководителями нашего международного проекта – Совета российской диаспоры за прекращение политрепрессий в России “Выпускай!”. После этого состоялся общий для всех наших проектов “день открытых дверей” с потенциальными будущими волонтёрами и активистами нашего сообщества. Участники состоявшихся встреч проживают в 10 городах и 8 странах мира (США, Великобритании, Франции, Испании, Эстонии, Черногории, Украине и Израиле).
