Rally of solidarity with Ukraine in Washington DC, May 4, 2014

On May 4, our representatives & supporters took part in the international rally in Washington DC, honoring the memory of the victims of violence in Ukraine and protesting against the Russian government intervention there. Luba (Lovey) Murzhenko, the widow ofSoviet-era political prisoner Alexey Murzhenko and one of the leaders of our organization, spoke in Ukrainian on the history of Ukrainians’ and Russians’ joint struggle against Soviet-era oppression and our solidarity today.
