We are a nonprofit created by Russian-speaking Americans and their friends and allies who participated in the rallies of solidarity with Russia’s movement for fair vote and democratic change that took place in New York, Washington, San Francisco, Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, and Boston between December 2011 and March 2012. We aim to raise public awareness in American society about the struggle for civil and human rights in Russia and other countries of the former Soviet Union in past and present and its significance for world affairs, as well as about the Russian-speaking American community, its culture, interests and needs.
